@82mhz Complete the installation without doing this step.

After the installation is finished, follow the instructions here:

https://www.netbsd.org/docs/guide/en/chap-virt.html#chap-virt-guest-ipv6

then run sysinst from the installed system. Select "config menu" and it will give you the option to "Enable installation of binary packages".
