@eff It's not a "privacy nightmare," it's by design: without anonymity, there is no dissent. The "burner phone" is the last un-fenced space. They force identification to turn every platform into a control database. Privacy is dead; only forced conformity remains.
@eff It's already in Europe, and everyone who wants a SIM card without his name on it can easily go around it by giving a bottle of vodka to a drunk found on the street. If that's to fight crimes it's not gonna work.
