EFF’s Dave Maass spoke with @CNN about the anti-ALPR sentiment sweeping the nation. “Once people start learning about the massive scale of the data that’s being collected and who it’s being accessed by, it starts to freak them out.” https://www.cnn.com/2026/07/30/us/flock-camera-vandalism-protests-cec

@eff @CNN what bothers me the most, these ALPRs are installed with zero community input or oversight. Flock contracts can range from $50K-$250K per year, that's a lot of filled potholes in my town, for a service that yields very little in way of practical benefit.
@eff They are right to stay on high alert. Data predation is what companies like Palantir thrive on. Unmonitored ALPR tracking feeds straight into their "Digital Twin" models—mapping every citizen's life into a private intelligence grid. People are waking up to this systemic threat. #DataPrivacy #Surveillance #Palantir

Delusional. Our genocidal violence will turn inwards. Right now, they are creating lists of people to "deal with". But, "life is good", so they say, as they wonder why they cannot live on the wages they are paid.
