@arstechnica This is about an actual simulation but my initial thought was that you were calling the actual war a simulated global crisis.

It really does seem like it. The people in charge on all sides are actually making out quite well. It's only the rest of us that suffer so really this isn't a global crisis at all but a simulated one with us as the target. They get to scare the fuck out of us, change our laws, and jack up profits while we run around with our heads up our asses.
