@arstechnica humanoid robots has become a weird obsession of tech companies somehow. This is such a stupid idea compared to making robots that are actually optimized for easy movement and manipulation. It always seemed to me it was mostly a fantasy from non tech managers that think it's gonna be so impressive or something of the sort.
