mastodon.social@arstechnica Is it just me or does it seem like using such an old picture with a much younger Linus is trying to be manipulative? It's not like there aren't recent photos of him and here there are using a 20+ year old photo. 🤷
@arstechnica I cannot imagine he said that without more context. He said before that it's pointless to forbid certain tools, because people will use them anyway.
The review process ensures that most crap is filtered out. As long as they are capable to review the code, it should be fine.
