We weren't realistically going to any other planet anyway.
@arstechnica Some people watched WALL-E and learned the wrong lesson.
@arstechnica It seems all the benefits of Xona could be achieved by replacing the current GPS satellites with ones with more powerful transmitters. Or am I missing something fundamental with their plan?
