塞爾維亞團隊 Polden Publishing 發行、獨立團隊 Knitted Cats 開發的多人合作醫療模擬遊戲《Night Shift Hospital》在 Steam 亮相，發售日「即將推出」，主打最多 4 人合作，玩家將在深夜醫院擔任值班醫師，面對一波又一波湧入的病患，在混亂及壓力中努力撐到天亮。

本作顧名思義以大夜班急診輪值為舞台，重點在檢傷分類（Triage）系統，玩家須根據病患的疼痛程度、心跳、呼吸狀況以及患者自述的症狀，判斷病情嚴重程度，再將患者分配至紅、黃、綠等不同治療區域接受適當處置。
但這間醫院沒那麼單純，預告影片可見患者全身閃爍除顫器電擊後的藍白色光芒，也有人趴在病床插滿大量針筒，可見玩家用各式離奇手段處理古怪症狀與突發事件，急診室簡直像《煮過頭》廚房充滿惡趣味。
遊戲中玩家團隊只有 10 次醫療疏失的容忍機會，無論是誤診、開錯藥、執行錯誤處置，甚至讓病患死亡，都會計入失誤次數。患者往生是最嚴重的失敗，一旦累積太多失誤，所有人都要捲鋪蓋回家。
每一次夜班都會隨機加入全新災難與特殊規則，沒有兩場值班情境會完全相同。玩家得在掛號、診斷與治療流程間奔波，還得即時應對各種突發狀況，考驗團隊分工與臨場反應能力。
負責發行本作的 Polden Publishing 共同創辦人兼執行長 Kirill Oreshkin 日前在 LinkedIn 透露，公司曾收到三款類似的醫院合作遊戲企劃，《Night Shift Hospital》因為最早送達，率先進入市場測試階段。
而在消息經由社群轉推後，Oreshkin 表示本作在發表後 24 小時內已累積約 1.3 萬筆 Steam 願望清單，社群平台相關內容總觀看次數更突破 330 萬次，以目前的成長速度來看，本作有望在數週內突破 5 萬筆願望清單，成為公司近期表現最亮眼的市場測試案例。
《Night Shift Hospital》目前尚未公布上市日期，預計於 PC Steam 平台推出。

The beer keg one didn't even break 1k. The prison friendslop couldn't reach 10k wishlists in several days either. But this one's actually moving. Now we need to run it through playtests properly and nail a loud launch. Every chance this turns into a pretty successful game.
