On the W3C blog, Ian Jacobs wrote about W3C's launch of our first pilot of program to support Open Source projects.

He described our new program to support Open Source Software projects. The program will support collaboration around web technology in order to accelerate its adoption and interoperability.

The first pilot of this experiment is the Can I VC? Project, a community-driven compatibility dashboard for the W3C Verifiable Credentials (VC) ecosystem. https://www.w3.org/blog/2026/w3c-launches-first-pilot-of-program-to-support-open-source-projects/ #OSS
