@tubetime Didn’t the Gravis have a bank of RAM chips one had to load the patches into before use? Does the ROM replace those with a fixed patch set that’s always ready, or do you get both?
@acb yeah the card has both the RAM and the ROM with the fixed patch set. the SIMM slots are for adding more patch memory.
@tubetime Was the ROM a feature of later revisions, or something added for convenience to this project? IIRC, my GUS only had the RAM.
