Replaceable batteries are not a fantasy, companies just needed a legal shove. EU rules are pushing Nintendo and Amazon toward more repairable devices, from Switch hardware with replaceable batteries to signs of Kindle battery replacement kits and guides.

@iFixit was delighted by how boring and easy it was to swap the battery in my Framework 13 recently. All devices should be this easy to service.
