That drifting controller isn’t trash. It’s a soldering project. So much “unfixable” gear is only stuck because the dead part is soldered down. Learn to melt it off and the new one on, and a whole world of repairs opens up.

@iFixit soldering should be taught to students.
@iFixit i've only experienced stick drift in one game - the division 2 (ps5). never understood why only in that one game.
