@eff Did anyone mention that mandated ID requirements can also be transphobic? This is especially true for AI face scanners.
Name too masculine for image? access denied.
ID doesn't match appearance due to hair growth? access denied.
ID revoked by a transphobic government? Access denied.
A similar thing has already been seen in a rather humourously titled court case in Australia regarding a 'girls only' social media platform.
