I really don't get this at all. About anyone can buy a real, working gun on line. From https://gunbroker.com :

Why should I bother making a pistol that'll probly only work once when I can buy the genuine article for less than $250?
@eff @falsemirror This is not so much a gun issue as it is a freedom of speech issue. Computer code is my form of speech, and these laws are essentially forced speech. Not to mention all those people who have a mill or lathe just for doing wood work. So I have to submit my plans to a government database to make a salad bowl now?!?!?!
