Britain needs to ban Twitter/X entirely. Apartheid Elon himself is stoking race riots.

Instead of collecting more data there should be a simple law, that the OS by default should have a software which allow parents to block some sites and apps for minors.

No need to ID verification not even way to create account.
VPN will not be problematic.

Why goverments don't do that? Becouse this is not for Children protection it is for survelience and ripping off Internet anonimity.

@arstechnica We need to do something but this doesn't seem workable. And what about the adults? It shouldn't be legal to run an unsafe social platform for anyone. Make some rules around what's safe and what isn't and enforce them. Obviously exclude small sites under a certain number of users (100k or so).
